Man Dies After Tree Branch Falls On His Truck

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (AP) — A Brooksville man died when a tree branch fell onto his truck, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Billy Mullins was driving his truck near U.S. 41 Monday evening when the branch broke off and fell.

Mullins’ 1989 Dodge Ram truck crashed into a tree on the east side of the road.

Troopers say he died at the scene.
