Road Ranger Finds Woman Dead In Car Along I-75

FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — A Road Ranger from the Florida Department of Transportation found a woman dead in her vehicle on the shoulder of Interstate 75 near Fort Myers.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the 50-year-old North Naples woman was unresponsive when the Road Ranger stopped after seeing the vehicle along the side of the road Sunday afternoon.

A preliminary investigation indicates the incident may be medically related since there was no sign of an accident.

No further details were immediately available.
