(AUDIO) Todd Kalas: Every Mistake Has Come Back to Bite the Rays

Todd Kalas from Sun Sports joined Booger and Marc to discuss the Rays disappointing 2014 season.

Kalas said the mood in the clubhouse is that these players are a little bit shocked. This team has never gone through anything like this with such high expectations coming into the season.

Kalas said the guys are trying all kinds of things to figure this out. Some guys are trying extra hitting, pitchers are looking to see how they can pick up another win but it’s elusive. Right now, Kalas said there’s not even one guy you can point to in the minors that can be the spark for this team.

To Kalas, there have been several different factors to the Rays struggles that include injuries and players who aren’t playing up to their potential. This is one of those years where everything hasn’t clicked. Every mistake they make comes back to bite them.

This team isn’t as bad as their record according to Kalas
