Who made Pants’ All-Time NBA Team??? You might be Surprised

So, the All-NBA First Team came out yesterday. In case you missed it, here it is.

Chris Paul G
James Harden G
LeBron James F
Kevin Durant F
Joakim Noah C

Okay, that’s all fine and dandy, but that got me thinking… Who should be on the All-Time NBA First Team??? If you had to grab 5 guys to play the aliens for the survival of Earth, who you rollin’ with?????

Coming up with these 5 wasn’t easy. You could debate some of these guys all day long. Hey’ that’s why we come up with these lists right? Without further ado, here are my starting 5.

Michael Jordan G

Of course, I’m starting with MJ. He’s the best I’ve ever seen. He’s the best you’ve ever seen. NEXT.

Magic Johnson G

The best point guard in the history of the game. I have heard some argue that Magic might be the best player ever! Considering how versatile he was, I could see the argument. Dude played all 5 positions… at a high level. Hell, he played all 5 positions while starting at center in ONE GAME. Game 6 of the 1980 Finals. All he did was get 42 and 15 to bring home his first championship. Did I mention he was a rookie?

LeBron James G

King James still has a chance to go down as the best ever. At 29, many regard him as the best small forward in history already. Larry Bird fans ain’t tryin’ to hear that. I know. I’m one of them. That being said; I’ve watched Larry and I’ve watched LeBron and I’m going with the King. He, like Magic, can play all 5 positions. Whenever I talk about LeBron James, the first thing I say is… He’s like Magic Johnson… AND Michael Jordan. Nuff said.

Tim Duncan F

This one was tough. Many argue that The Big Fundamental is the best power forward ever and I would agree. Is he one of the best 5 basketball players ever??? No, but I need some size on my team if I want to save the world. His 4 rings and 3 Finals MVP’s can’t be denied.

Wilt Chamberlain C

I know Russell got the rings, but Wilt was the MAN! 100 POINTS IN A GAME?!?!? Nobody will ever get near that. I was shocked when Kobe got 83… Maybe more impressive than that though was that Wilt the Stilt AVERAGED over 50 points in 1 season.

Honorable Mention

Oscar Robertson
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Bill Russell
Shaquille O’Neal
Kobe Bryant
Bob Cousy
Larry Bird
Karl Malone

Am I forgetting anybody?????
