Police: Man Calls 911 Multiple Times Because Wife Threw Out His Beer

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – Police arrested a man after her repeatedly called 911 reporting that his wife had thrown out his beer.

Carlos Bueno Mir appeared be to intoxicated when West Palm Beach police arrived at his home and told them that his wife had “thrown out his beer,” WESH-TV reported.

Police told the 49-year-old man that his situation was not an emergency and told him not to call 911 unless there was one.

Bueno Mir didn’t follow their command and called 911 again. He became uncooperative with the operator and refused to explain what his emergency was.

Later on, Bueno Mir called 911 again and began to yell that a woman outside had broken into two of his beers, WESH-TV reported.

During a span of four hours, Bueno Mir called 911 a total of seven times.

He’s facing charges of misuse of the 911 emergency system for making a false alarm or complaint.
