(AUDIO) Phil Steele Gets Us Fired Up With Some College Football Talk

As Jim Lighthall refers to him, Phil Steele ” The Ambassador” of college football joined Fan Interference this morning to give us his thoughts on how the Florida teams look heading towards the upcoming season.

Phil first off was very high on the Florida Gators having a bounce back year with the addition of new offensive coordinator Kurt Roper, quarterback Jeff Driskel could have a much better year then he did last year in the Gators disappointing 2013 season. One of the things Phil was high on with Florida is the group of receivers there.

As you would imagine, Phil loved the talent in Tallahassee surrounding Jameis Winston. FSU’s strength according to Phil is in the backfield with their running backs.

For the longest time, Phil has been one of the rare national guys that has been bullish on the talent at USF. Steele said that once the quarterback positioned was set with Mike White toward the end of the year, that USF bringing back enough starters on offense that they can perhaps get back to a bowl game.
