(AUDIO) Ira Kaufman: Malcolm Glazer’s Passing Marks the End of the Era

The Buccaneers announced on Wednesday that their owner Malcolm Glazer passed away at the age of 85. Ira Kaufman from the Tampa Tribune joined Booger and Rich to discuss his legacy in Tampa Bay.

Kaufman said that when Malcolm Glazer took over the team, they had a nice turnaround under Tony Dungy which eventually culminated in a Super Bowl under Jon Gruden. When Mr. Glazer had a stroke and gave control of the team to his sons, Kaufman noted that the franchise hasn’t done a whole lot. Kaufman said that’s no coincidence.

Kaufman said Malcolm Glazer was very competitive and just wanted to win.Today is a tough day and it’s the end of an era.
