Police: Woman Bulldozes Neighbor’s Mobile Home

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — Police say a woman bulldozed her neighbor’s mobile home because she considered the owner unsavory.

According to an arrest report obtained by The Florida Times-Union, 62-year-old Ana Maria Moreta Folch tricked a heavy equipment operator that she owned the trailer and wanted its septic tank destroyed.

St. Johns County authorities say Moreta Folch bulldozed her neighbor’s trailer because she thought they were “unsavory” and believed they broke into her car. She called bulldozing the trailer home a “favor to her neighborhood.”

The Times-Union reports that the owner of the trailer, Maria Gottfried, told authorities that she owned the mobile home since 2006 and that she never and any problems with Moreta Folch.

There was $25,000 worth of damage done to Gottfried’s home.

Moreta Folch was charged with criminal mischief and released on $10,000 bail.
