(AUDIO) Derrick Brooks is Humbled to Be in the Bucs Ring of Honor

After being announced as the next member of the Buccaneers Ring of Honor, Derrick Brooks joined Booger and Rich.

Brooks said that he couldn’t put into words what it means to be next to names like Lee Roy Selmon, Jimmie Giles and his former teammate Warren Sapp.

Brooks thanked his teammates for being there, including Booger, and continually used the word humbling for this experience.

The NFL Hall of Fame selected Brooks as one of it’s next members in February but Brooks said this Ring of Honor means more to the fans of Tampa Bay than the Hall of Fame. This is their ring and he’s just happy to be a part of it.

We asked Brooks about the Bucs draft pick at 7 and he said the front office probably has every potential pick that could fall to them lined up before they even get to the War Room. Brooks said they could go either offense or defense and aren’t locked into one position at 7.
