Road Rage Incident Leaves Woman Hospitalized After Truck Ran Over Her Arm

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — A road rage incident in St. Petersburg has left a woman hospitalized.

Police say the woman was driving near downtown when a pickup truck pulled up behind her, honking.

Officials say the truck driver then pulled in front of her, slamming on his brakes, a move which caused the woman to slam on her brakes. When the two vehicles reached a red light the woman got out, walked up to the pickup driver, and approached the driver.

The truck driver grabbed her arm through his window, and drove, running the red light as he dragged the woman roughly 50 feet.

When he let go, the left rear tire of his truck ran over her right arm.

Police are searching for the truck driver.
