(AUDIO) The Bucs Looked Sharp in Mini Camp

Mark Cook from Pewter Report joined Booger and Marc to discuss Bucs mini camp and the team’s first practice.

Cook said it’s not his job to get excited but the team came out like they’ve been doing it for a while. They were firing on all cylinders. The team had a good idea of what they were doing and looked sharp.

Cooks said new QB Josh McCown looked completely in command and his throws were sharp. There was no question that McCown is the starter.

Cook said it was clear that the offense is going to aim to put up some points this season. Cook said it’s clear Jeff Tedford wasn’t brought here to score 14 points. Both Jeff Demps and Bobby Rainey looked great for the system Tedford is running.

Cooks said that Adrian Clayborn got the first reps on the other end of Michael Johnson, but Da’Quan Bowers got some reps as well. Cook said after the practice Bowers admitted that this is a critical year for his career.
