2 Killed, 2 Injured In Shooting At Tampa Park

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Two men died when shooting broke out during an argument at Tampa’s Al Barnes Park.

Tampa police say a man and a woman were critically injured in the shooting, which occurred about 5 p.m. Sunday as several families were enjoying Easter afternoon in the park.

Police say 22-year-old Nico Charles Crawford and 17-year-old Zedmon Culpepper died at the scene. The names of the wounded were not released.

According to reports, an argument broke out and quickly became physical. Police say one person took out a gun and began firing. A second person also began firing.

Officers have arrested 22-year-old Ronald L. Milliron. Police say the convicted felon was in possession of the gun used in the fatal shooting, but he wasn’t immediately charged for the shooting itself.
