Round 1 Continued…

17. Baltimore Ravens – CJ Mosley – LB – Alabama
Commish’s Comments:
Mosley fills the middle of the Ravens defense both in play and leadership. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

18. New York Jets – Eric Ebron – TE – UNC
Commish’s Comments:
Sometimes it just works out this way. The Jets would sprint to the podium. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

19. Miami Dolphins – Zack Martin – OT – Notre Dame
Commish’s Comments:
Match made in heaven? ROUND 2   ROUND 3

20. Arizona Cardinals – Ryan Shazier – LB – Ohio St.
Commish’s Comments:
I can see Shazier going higher than this. He is ultra-talented and flies all over the field. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

21. Green Bay Packers –  Austin Seferian-Jenkins – TE – Washington
Commish’s Comments:
Seferian-Jenkins is just what Aaron Rodgers has been missing since Jermichael Finley got injured. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

22. Philadelphia Eagles – Allen Robinson – WR – Penn St.
Commish’s Comments:
If the Eagles want bigger receivers, then Robinson is a perfect fit with size (6’3”), but also tremendous speed for Chip Kelly’s offense. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

23. Kansas City Chiefs –  Xavier Su’a-Filo – OG – UCLA
Commish’s Comments:
A lot of folks have the Chiefs taking a receiver here, but if you look at Andy Reid’s history, he loves drafting offensive linemen in the 1st round. The Chiefs lost both of their starting guards and their left tackle in free agency. Su’a-Filo has pro bowl potential. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

24. Cincinnati Bengals – Kony Ealy – DE – Missouri
Commish’s Comments: Ealy is a nice replacement for the departed Michael Johnson and is a better option than Margus Hunt. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

25. San Diego Chargers – Darqueze Dennard – CB – Michigan St.
Commish’s Comments: A team desperate for a CB and they might have arguably the best corner fall into their lap. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

26. Cleveland Browns (via IND) – Brandin Cooks – WR – Oregon St.
Commish’s Comments:
Wait a second, the Browns get Manziel and one of the most electric receivers in the draft? To think, Kevin Costner’s not even running this draft. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

27. New Orleans Saints – Dee Ford – DE/OLB – Auburn
Commish’s Comments:
The Saints need more rush off the edge. Ford will mesh extremely well with Rob Ryan. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

28. Carolina Panthers – Morgan Moses – OT – Virginia
Commish’s Comments:
Quick, what’s the Panther’s biggest need? If you said offensive tackle, you win! Moses is an underrated tackle, but has the ability to step in and play for the Panthers who possess zero starting-caliber offensive tackles right now. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

29. New England Patriots – Louis Nix – DT – Notre Dame
Commish’s Comments:
Nix next to Vince Wilfork will prevent any team from running the football on them. Nix is very athletic for 340 lbs. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

30. San Francisco 49ers – Kyle Fuller – CB – Virginia Tech
Commish’s Comments:
The 49ers need a corner to match up in man coverage in their defense. Fuller has had some injury issues, but his natural instincts should fit well with the 49ers defense. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

31. Denver Broncos – DeMarcus Lawrence – DE/OLB – Boise St.
Commish’s Comments:
Lawrence is another player to keep your eye on. He is a relentless pass rusher who could have his name called much sooner than this. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

32. Seattle Seahawks – Cyrus Kouandjio – OT – Alabama
Commish’s Comments:
The Seahawks love drafting Alabama players early in drafts. Kouandjio can step in and play right tackle or guard for the Seahawks who need to upgrade both positions. ROUND 2   ROUND 3

Vietnam Veterans' Bond Forged Again With Kidney DonationServing together in Vietnam, John Middaugh and Henry "Bill" Warner forged an Army-brothers bond they knew was profound and lasting. A world and nearly a half a century away from the war zone where they'd counted on each other, Middaugh put himself on the line for Warner this month in a new way: by giving one of his kidneys.
