(BLOG) Check out Rollergirl’s Stories We Missed

This weekend is The Masters from Augusta National in Augusta Georgia and everyone is very concerned about who will wear the green jacket. Will it be defending champion Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy or someone new? Some people just don’t care because Tiger Woods isn’t playing. With all the hype I’m sure there is some Stories We Missed.

Have you ever seen a Jesus in your toast or a famous person in your potatoes? Well one man saw Rory McIlroy’s face in his cinnamon roll. According to the Irish Daily Mirror, a college lecturer and golf fanatic named Rob Price wagered $20,000 on McIlroy to win the Masters. Price said he was going to bet $150 on McIlroy to win anyway but he had to bet big when Rory’s face was staring back at him.

Let’s just say you were lucky enough to get a ticket to the tournament, not many people get to experience the weekend that is The Masters. How much would you spend on swag? Maybe a hat or t-shirt from the pro shop would be enough for me. One spectator spent close to $6,000 on items. I took a look at the receipt. He bought golf balls, flags, polos, hats and of course argyle socks.
