FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — A woman who tweeted about being drunk before getting into a wrong-way South Florida expressway crash that killed two other women has been arrested.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported Monday that 21-year-old Kayla Mendoza was charged in the November deaths of Kaitlyn Ferrante and Marisa Cantronio. Police say Mendoza was driving the wrong way on the Sawgrass Expressway in Broward County and slammed into the car driven by Ferrante.

Before the crash, Mendoza allegedly tweeted out “2 drunk 2 care” and made references to marijuana and bongs.

Authorities say Mendoza is charged with two counts each of DUI manslaughter, vehicle homicide and driving without a license causing death. Court records did not list an attorney for her.

The FHP says Mendoza was taken to the Broward County Jail.
