(AUDIO) The Gators Season Has to Be Called a Success

CBS college basketball writer Jerry Palm told Booger and Rich why the Gators couldn’t hold off 7 seed UCONN in the Final Four and what fans should expect from Monday night’s National Championship game.

Palm said like most, his bracket is toast. When you look at Kentucky, they’re an 8 seed because they messed around for a few months but their All-Americans carried them on the big stage, especially the Harrison twins.

Palm said UCONN’s guards posed a major problem for Florida’s defense. The speed of guys like Shabazz Napier didn’t allow Florida to do what they wanted to on defense. Connecticut was just the better team on that day.

Even though the Gators were dropped by UCONN, Palm said the season was a success.
