BREAKING: Bucs Trade Mike Williams

According to James Walker of ESPN, the Buccaneers have traded WR Mike Williams to the Buffalo Bills for a 6th round pick in this year’s draft.

Here is the official statement from the Bucs:

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the trade of wide receiver Mike Williams to the Buffalo Bills for an undisclosed selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, pending him passing a physical.

“We thank Mike for his contributions to the Buccaneers over the last four seasons. At this time, we felt this was best for both sides and we wish Mike well going forward,” said Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht.

Williams was drafted by Tampa Bay in the fourth round (101st overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. In his four-year career with the Buccaneers, he has started 52-of-54 career games played, catching 215 passes for 2,947 yards and 25 touchdowns.”
