(AUDIO) Mark Cook: Good Bucs Got Anything for Mike Williams

Mark Cook 4-4-14

Mark Cook from Pewter Report joined Rich and Marc Ryan to discuss why the Bucs decided to trade Mike Williams.

Cook said he doesn’t think there was one specific incident that got Mike Williams traded. Cook said when Joel Glazer called Williams a distraction, that told Cook that the troubled WR may not be around much longer.

Cook said that WR is the deepest position in this draft and the fact that the Bucs got a 6th round pick is a good move. Lovie Smith and Jason Licht felt this was the best scenario for them and they couldn’t risk having Williams being a part of another negative headline. Cook noted that the Eagles couldn’t even get a draft pick for DeSean Jackson.
