(AUDIO) Orlando Antigua Says It May Take Time for USF to Get Back to the Tournament

Moments after being introduced as USF’s next men’s basketball coach, Orland Antigua joined Booger and Rich to discuss what lead him from Kentucky to Tampa.

Antigua said that he’s ready to become the head coach, because he’s been there before. He was the head coach of the Dominican national team that has had major success and he has the experience to get USF on track.

When it comes to recruiting, Antigua is known as a bit of a guru. He told Booger and Rich that he has to evaluate his team’s needs before recruiting but his hope is that they can one day go after All-Americans.

Antigua admitted that it may take time for this program to get back to the tournament and this isn’t an easy job but that’s why he’s here.
