(AUDIO) Lovie Smith Played Big Role in Brandon Myers Coming to the Bucs

Brandon Myers 3-20-14

Bucs new TE Brandon Myers joined Booger and Rich to discuss his decision to sign on with Lovie Smith in Tampa Bay.

Myers said that Lovie Smith played a big part in him choosing the Bucs in free agency. He said he was a big Bears fan at Iowa and was able to watch Lovie Smith and that team and he’s looking forward to working with both him and offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford.

When asked what he can bring to the Bucs, Myers told Booger and Rich that he can pass protect well as a TE and will be a guy who can move the chains on 3rd down.

Finally Myers said that he and the Giants struggled out of the gate last season but were able to turn it around and build momentum heading into the offseason. Myers believes that he can do the same with the Bucs coming off a 4-12 season.
