Meet New Buc Anthony Collins

The Bucs newest offensive tackle Anthony Collins is a large man that doesn’t say much. Unlike his predecessor, you shouldn’t expect Collins to hold court with the media.

Our friends at talked with the new left tackle and got a sense of what kind of player he’s going to be. Mark Cook notes that as long as Collins can protect the quarterback’s blindside, Bucs fans won’t care if they hear from him:

“For what, what do we need to talk about?” Collins said after the press conference to announce the signing of the former Bengals offensive lineman and to introduce new starting quarterback Josh McCown. “I have to protect that man (pointing to McCown) with all my heart. So I will let him call the audibles, I will let him talk. I just need to protect.”
