Wide receiver draft prospect Sammy Watkins had a great pro day at Clemson on Thursday and is projected to be a top 10 pick this May. He joined Booger and Rich to talk about where he hopes to end up next season.
Watkins had a tremendous pro day at Clemson and ran a 4.34 at the Comine. He has run a 4.24 in the past. Watkins said his speed will help other QB’s because they can throw it to him and he can go get it and get them out of trouble.
Watkins said so far the process of being scouted has been great. His coach has done a great job selling to scouts and growing his as a person. He’s just been trying to take it all in.
Watkins says he’s a guy who will impact a team on and off the field. He can be a leader and will be a great teammate.
Watkins said it would be a blessing come true for the Bucs to draft him since he’s from the Ft. Myers area. So far Watkins has no idea who will draft him.
