(AUDIO) Larry Brooks: Ryan Callahan Will Score Marty St. Louis-Type Goals

Larry Brooks of the NY Post joined Booger and Rich to talk about what lead up to the Rangers dealing for St. Louis and what the Lightning can expect from Ryan Callahan.

Brooks said that this was a very good trade for the Lightning when you consider that Marty St. Louis wanted out of Tampa. Yzerman did a great job in negotiating for a 1st round draft pick and a 2nd round draft pick that could become a 1st round draft pick.

For the Rangers, Brooks said that it’s important for them to win a Stanley Cup because they can’t justify giving up so much if they don’t.

What can we expect from Ryan Callahan? Brooks said he has great hands around the net and you will see him score goals, but not as many as St. Louis. However, Brooks did say that Callahan will score the types of fancy goals you’ll see from St. Louis and Steven Stamkos. You’ll also see him playing hard and doing everything he can to block a shot.
