(AUDIO) Former GM Vinny Cerrato Says He Would Move Darrelle Revis to Fill Other Holes

Former NFL GM Vinny Cerrato joined Booger and Rich to share his thoughts on what the Bucs could get from trading Darrelle Revis.

Cerrato said you have to listen to calls from every team over every player. With Rex Ryan, Revis was the top priority in the defense he played. Cerrato said his guess is that Revis won’t be as important in Lovie Smith’s defense and he isn’t worth $16 million if that’s the case.

Cerrato said if the Bucs hope to move Revis and get a late 1st round pick then they will have to restructure his contract. No team will be willing to deal a 1st round pick and also acquire his rich contract.

If he was down in Tampa, Cerrato said that he would look to move Revis and free up as much cash as possible to go out and fill holes that desperately need filled. The team is 4-12 and don’t need Revis at this point.
