NFL Draft: Bridgewater Will Not Throw at Combine

According to SFGate.com, Lousiville QB Teddy Bridgewater has decided against throwing at the NFL combine on Sunday.

Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has decided not to throw Sunday at the NFL combine, league sources said last night. Bridgewater is one of the top four quarterbacks in the draft, and joins Johnny Manziel and Derek Carr as those who will wait to throw at their Pro Days. Blake Bortles is still scheduled to throw for coaches and scouts here.

I do not believe this will hurt Bridgewater’s status as one of the top quarterbacks in this draft at all.

In my 1st mock draft, I had Bridgewater going to the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 3rd overall selection. Bridgewater is probably most prepared to step right in and start immediately in the NFL.

Expect Bridgewater to do his throwing at his pro day or a personal workout much like Johnny Manziel.
