Ravens Safety Elam Said To Work At Athletic Shoe Store During Off-Season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – Talk about work ethic!

Baltimore Ravens safety and former Florida Gators star Matt Elam has reportedly taken on part-time work during the off-season.

Even though Elam stands to make a reported $6.767 million from his rookie contract, according to the Baltimore Sun, he has still apparently decided to take on the extra work.

Multiple posts have been made to the social photo-sharing site Instagram that show the 2013 first round draft pick as an employee at a Gainesville Finish Line location.

During his time off, Elam is also completing his anthropology degree. However, the Sun learned that he will not need to pay for the remaining 20 credits that stand between him and his diploma.
