Joe Bussell of NFLosophy joined the guys on Fan Interference today to give us his break down of the Bucs and gave us his honest assessment of the team.
Joe was with the Bucs during the Raheem Morris years and gave said that once he left teh team really enjoyed the outlet of social media and giving his thoughts on the web.
One of Joe’s biggest breakdown is of Mike Glennon. Joe did mention that it is hard to give an honest assessment of a guy in his rookie year, and did see some things that stood out to him. One of the misconception that Joe believes is out there is his “big arm”.
For a rookie, Glennon did have what Joe called a good year, but said that he did struggle as the season went on and that he did start to lose confidence in his line. Another issue that Glennon ran into was his inability to throw into tight spaces and make a throw into a small window.
Joe does say that this will be a big draft for the Bucs because the front office and Lovie Smith will need to make a decision on a QB or not in this draft because Joe feels that this team will be much improved from last season.
One of the weaker spots last year for the Bucs was offensive line and what Joe sees moving forward for the team that perhaps it maybe time to ask Davin Joseph to take a pay cut, and get some guys in free agency that can bring some competition on the offensive line.
