(AUDIO) How Will An Openly Gay Players Affect The Locker Room

Mark Cook 021214

Mark Cook of Pewter Report joined Fan Interference this morning to give us his thoughts on the dynamic of Michael Sam in the locker room. Mark is in the Bucs locker room everyday covering the team, and said that first of all, Sam will be put under the same workplace rules that every employee is about sexual activity in the workplace.

Mark said heading into the Senior Bowl, the discussion was already out there about Sam so he felt the need to get in front of the story before it was leaked out about his preference which should not limit his ability to make a living. When asked about how a locker room would handle someone who is gay, Mark says that while it may make some players uncomfortable, it will not have any major effects on the play on the field.
