Recent pro football Hall off Fame inductee Warren Sapp has been making headlines once again this week, with comments regarding the worthiness of former New York Giants sack machine and current FOX football analyst Michael Strahan to be included in this year’s Hall of Fame class.
CBS Sports quoted Sapp earlier as saying that he doesn’t think it’s something that should happen.
Strahan, for his part, said that other people’s opinions don’t really matter much to him.
“Football was part of my life, but it is not my entire life,” Strahan said. “So for some guys, maybe that’s their entire life and that’s all they have to hold on to. Playing football, sacking quarterbacks, that was part of my life, and I did it and I moved on. The tiger does not pay attention to the opinion of the sheep.”
So, was Sapp’s opinion on Strahan been misinterpreted?
The man we here in Tampa Bay will always remember as “QB Killa” sat down with Booger and Rich on Radio Row at the Super Bowl to clarify his comments regarding the NFL’s reigning sack leader, and also to share his predictions for the big game on Sunday.Comments
