CBS Sports on-course golf reporter Peter Kostis joined Booger and Rich to talk about the start of the PGA season this weekend at the Farmer’s Insurance Open and his recent battle with cancer.
Kostis said that Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson move the needle in golf and both will be competing this weekend in Torrey Pines. He said that’s what this weekend will be about.
Kostis says it’s awesome to be back after recovering from cancer. He said he can’t wait to get back onto the fairways and feels like a player coming back from injury. Kostis is now cancer free and encourages other men to get colonscopies regularly and he said several people have caught it early because of the screenings that he encouraged them to get.
