Funeral Services For Slain Fla. Man To Be Held

LAND O’LAKES, Fla. (AP) — Funeral services will be held for a man who was shot and killed during a dispute over texting at a movie theater.

Family and friends will say goodbye to Chad Oulson on Saturday. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Land O’Lakes Church of God. The service is open to the public.

Oulson’s wife was also shot in the hand during the dispute on Monday at a Pasco County movie theater.

Nicole Oulson’s lawyers say she is “grieving the death of her husband” and comforting the couple’s 22-month-old daughter.

Curtis Reeves, a 71-year-old retired police officer, is charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bail in connection with the incident.
