(AUDIO) The Lightning Are Just Taking It Step By Step

Ben Bishop from the Tampa Bay Lightning joined Fan Interference to talk about the season that he and the team has had. Ben talked about what has been the difference this year to attribute his success this year and says that getting regular time in the net has been a big help.

Bishop said that Coach Cooper has helped this season with a lot of the young guy joining the team this year that have played with Cooper throughout the minors that have made the young guys better prepared for the style of play that Cooper likes his team to play.

Ben also talked about when he found out that he would not be apart of the USA Olympic hockey team, and if he talked to any of the other members of the team that were hoping to go to Sochi but will not be representing his country.

As we all know, Justin is a huge fan of the Mighty Ducks, so Justin had to know if Ben shared his passion, and just how much TGIF did Ben grow up with.

Heading toward the Olympic break and beyond, Ben said it best when he said the team will just have to take it :Step by Step, Day by Day”.
