Scott Reynolds from Pewter Report joined Booger and Rich to talk about the weekends playoff games and break down why former Buccaneers like LeGarrette Blount are succeeding outside of Tampa Bay.
Reynolds said Aqib Talib was a screw up in Tampa and no one really wanted to keep him back when the Bucs traded him to the Patriots. Reynolds said a change of scenery was in order. If you keep Talib, Reynolds said you may not even have Darrelle Revis here.
With Blount, Reynolds said he wasn’t a real fit for the offense but was talented.
With Michael Bennett, Reynolds said he thinks he would’ve flourished under Schiano but there were two sides to the story with him. He was the leading sacker and lead the defensive line in tackles for a loss. He should’ve been resigned in Reynolds’ opinion. Reynolds said he heard rumors from both the Bucs and Bennett’s camp about the lack of a resigning.
