NFL analyst Sterling Sharpe joined Booger and Rich to break down this weekend’s playoff matchups.
Sharpe said that it’s too bad Peyton Manning won’t be playing defense for the Broncos because they are lacking. Sharpe says it isn’t fair to Manning to say a lot of his career hangs on a Super Bowl victory with the Broncos. He’s not sure if you can call this a legacy game.
Sharpe said when you look at teams in the playoffs, you have to say that the Chargers and 49ers have gotten better as the season has gone on and he can’t see any way the Panthers can beat Colin Kaepernick and that 49ers defense.
Sharpe said he doesn’t see a scenario where the Patriots can beat the Colts. However, the Pats still have Tom Brady and Bill Belichik and if they take away T.Y. Hilton, they have a chance at home. He still thinks New England wins, but in a close game.
Finally Sharpe said that he thinks the game between the Seahawks and Saints will be close, but the home team will still prevail like they did in Week 13.
