(AUDIO) Mike Ditka Says Lovie Smith Can’t Rely on One Side of the Ball to Win

Former Bears head coach Mike Ditka joined Booger and Rich to talk about the Bucs hiring Lovie Smith and what kind of coach he was in Chicago.

Coach Ditka called it a great hire for the Buccaneers. He said the main reason Lovie Smith was let go in Chicago was because the team brought in a new GM and the new GM wanted his own coach.

Ditka said in order to win, you have to be good on both sides of the ball. Lovie Smith can’t just rely solely on his defense. It’s too much pressure and in today’s NFL, you have to score points.

Coach Ditka also said that coaches have to put players in the best position to win. You can’t make them do things they can’t do well.
