Turnovers were the story of the night for the USF Bulls (8-3) as they committed 18 of them en route to a 71-66 loss to Mississippi State (9-2) out at the Las Vegas Classic in Nevada.
Victor Rudd continued his strong season with another 17 points to lead all scoring. Corey Allen Jr. added 16 points of his own including going a perfect 8 of 8 from the free-throw line to help the Bulls effort.
For Mississippi State, five players scored in double-digits led by Fred Thomas’ 14 points.
The Bulls will finish out the Las Vegas tournament tomorrow night at 8:00 PM Eastern with their opponent being the loser of the UNLV v Santa Clara game later Sunday night.
