(AUDIO) Scott Reynolds from Pewter Report Understands Why Schiano Stopped Using the No Huddle

Scott Reynolds from Pewter Report joined Booger and Rich to help preview this week’s Bucs matchup with the St. Louis Rams.

Reynolds said Darrelle Revis isn’t 100% healthy but the goal all along was to have him play in every game. Reynolds said if you look at his production, he’s locked down receivers and had the game winning interception against the Dolphins. Reynolds said he was worth the investment to get him out of New York and into a Bucs uniform.

Reynolds said that he hasn’t heard any concern about Mike Glennon’s play in the locker room. The team has done a good job rallying around him and he has faced some tough defenses.

Greg Schiano faced scrutiny when he didn’t go back to the no huddle against the 49ers. Reynolds said it worked, but it can’t work all the time and it showed on Sunday when the Buccaneers threw a pick while in the no huddle. Reynolds there’s a reason why the Bucs didn’t go to a no huddle the entire game. Reynolds said the team still wanted to run the ball and the no huddle doesn’t fit that. He also said that the 49ers made adjustments to counter the no huddle.
