(AUDIO) Lavonte David: You Just Have to Tip Your Hat to Colin Kaepernick

Bucs linebacker Lavonte David joins Booger and Rich every Tuesday at 4:20pm to tell you what’s going on in the Bucs locker room.

It was reported that David had thrown up during the game on Sunday against the 49ers. David said it’s a secret of his that he actually likes to throw up during the game so he’s fine now.

David said he felt like the Bucs had the 49ers right where they wanted them until the 49ers long 10 minute drive in the 4th quarter. He said the team settled in after the 49ers took their best shot and played some good football.

Colin Kaepernick scrambled out of several blitz situations and David said they thought they could get him. They were in zone coverage for a good portion of the game but Kap just broke tackles and David said you just have to give your hats off to him.

David had a interception return for a touchdown that was called back for an offsides penalty. David thought he had been touched and all of a sudden Dashon Goldson told him to run and he took off for the endzone. Unfortunately David saw the referees calling the play back and afterwards his legs went dead and he had to get off the field and get some water. Teammates told him it was a heck of a play that didn’t count.

David said the Bucs are just trying to finish strong. They have two tough games left and they hope they can win this Sunday in St. Louis.
