(AUDIO) Hawkeyes Coach Kirk Ferentz Says Iowa Will Have to Continue to Get Better to Beat LSU

Kirk Ferentz 12-12

Iowa Hawkeyes Head Coach Kirk Ferentz dropped by with Booger and Rich to talk about his teams matchup with LSU in this year’s Outback Bowl.

Coach Ferentz said they’re very excited to play in the Outback Bowl, this is their third trip to Tampa. Ferentz said they’re very excited to play LSU and he’s just glad he’s not playing Booger’s Bengal Tigers.

Ferentz said every time they’ve come down here they’ve played an outstanding football team. He loves the matchup with his B1G school against an SEC powerhouse.

With the BCS ending, Ferentz said the whole scenario has amused him. Every year he said there are one or none teams left undefeated and it always tends to sort itself out.

Ferentz said his Hawkeyes have great leadership and play better collectively than individual talent. However, Ferentz said they’ll have to continue to improve to win this football game against LSU.
