Kanye received two nominations — Best Rap Album for Yeezus and Best Rap Song for “New Slaves” — but last night (Dec. 10) in Phoenix, Arizona, he decided to ask, why wasn’t he given more?

Over his nearly decade-long career Kanye has received 53 nominations for his seven albums, which puts him at No. 5 on the list of most nominated artists. Out of those nominations,  he has won 21 times, putting him at No. 6 on the list of all-time winners. Classical conductor Georg Solti, who died in 1997, holds the record at 31.
