(POLL) Fans Behaving Badly

Just by definition of the word fan, you would think we wouldn’t have to talk about “bad” sports fans. A fan, according to Webster’s Dictionary, is an enthusiastic devotee. Usually, when I think of devoted, I think loyal. But many fans feel they have the right to nastily ridicule the team and players they support. Hey, they pay good money to go to the games. Tickets aren’t cheap. Should fans be allowed to speak their minds no matter how R-rated their minds may be? And social media opens up a whole new world for fans to call out players who don’t perform. When do fans go too far? Or is there no out of bounds line for spectators?
