Mark Cook joined Marc Ryan tonight to give us his thoughts on the Bucs game this weekend in Carolina against the Panthers. Cook says that the game said more about the Panthers then it did about the Bucs. Even though the Bucs did lose, Mark felt that the Bucs missed on a lot of opportunities to make it a game in the 4th quarter, that mixed with the Panthers not making mistakes meant that the game was going to be a blowout.
The future of Greg Schiano was also a topic of conversation that the guys touched on as well. As time has gone on, it seems more and more then Greg Schiano had a lot of factors against him that created an environment where winning was going to be tough. Having said that, the record at the end of the day will be the ultimate factor for the future of Greg Schiano as the head coach.
Along with the future of Greg Schiano, a new coach could mean a new QB moving forward for the Bucs. Mark Cook says that the percentage of him being kept for 5 years as Marc Ryan suggest would be historic knowing that they have never given a QB in their franchise history.
