(POLL) Vulgar Language in the NFL

Cussing and football. Goes together like peas and carrots, right? I mean it’s a tough man’s sport. It only makes sense that tough, salty language is slung around as frequently as the pigskin is on the gridiron.

Or is that an archaic, uncivilized school of thought? The Fritz Pollard Alliance (an advocacy group, which promotes diversity in the NFL) recently contacted the NFL and suggested that a 15-yard penalty be issued against players who use abusive and/or threatening language on the field.

Does the foul-mouthed filth need to be curtailed? The guys weigh in and we’d love your input, too.
