(AUDIO) Fan Interference’s Best Thanksgiving Side Dishes

Thanksgiving Sidedishes

With Thanksgiving coming up, we decided to have listeners call up and give us their favorite sidedish recipes.

Eating is a sport right???

Thanks to Geoff in Tarpon Springs and Billy in Tampa for their suggestions

Geoff’s Cheddar Cheese Soup:

Blocks and Blocks of Cheddar Cheese

Cream

Carrots

Green Pepper

Onions

-Melt the blocks and blocks of cheese in the cream along with the carrots, green pepper, and onion that has been sautéed on the bottom. While the soup can be eaten as just a soup, you may also use it as a gravy and pour it all over your turkey and mashed potatoes.

Billy’s Hot Bacon Cheese Dip:

Pound of bacon

2 blocks of cream cheese

Cup of Cheddar Cheese

Cup of Havarti Cheese

Cup of Smoked Gouda

Hot Sauce

-Cook the bacon and chop it up. Melt all of the cheeses in some cream. Mix in ¾ of the bacon with the hot sauce to taste. Put it in a bowl and garnish the top with the rest of the bacon. Serve with Publix bakery crostini.
