(AUDIO) Pat Forde: If Jameis Winston Isn’t Charged, He’s Still on My Heisman Ballot

College Football Insider from Yahoo! Sports Pat Forde joins Booger and Rich from Tallahassee to give the latest on the ongoing case involving Jameis Winston.

Forde said that if FSU doesn’t have Jameis Winston because of his off the field issues, Top 25 voters would see it as a diminished product and probably wouldn’t vote them into the National Championship game. Forde said that one thing that could save the Noles is that the human voters are 2/3 of the overall vote. The computers could bump them high enough.

As far the Heisman vote, Forde said he will hold his vote until he sees the outcome of Winston’s case. If he isn’t charged, Forde said he won’t take Winston off his ballot. If he is charged, Forde said his mind might change.

Forde said the mood in Tallahassee is tense right now, especially over at the athletic department. He said there’s an air of anxiety because it’s totally out of their hands.
