(AUDIO) NFL Analyst Ross Tucker: I Don’t Think Dashon Goldson is a Dirty Player

NFL analyst Ross Tucker joined Booger and Rich to talk about the current state of your Buccaneers and bring you insight from around the league.

Tucker said that he doesn’t think that Goldson is a dirty player. Tucker admitted that he played on the edge at times and was called dirty by defensive lineman he blocked against. Tucker also said that Goldson got this big contract from the Bucs because they liked his physical style of play, but he needs to improve his style of play.

If Tucker was Greg Schiano, he said he would sit Goldson down and tell him how important he is to the team and that he loves his physicality but he needs to get the memo that players can’t like that anymore.

In regards to the Bucs recent win streak and 2-8 record, Tucker said he doesn’t think they are that winless 0-8 team but he also doesn’t believe they are the team that’s won two in a row. Tucker thinks they’re somewhere in between.

Tucker, who has been critical of Schiano in the past, said he thinks Schiano only knows how to coach one style: college. Tucker said Schiano has gotten a little better at adjusting to the NFL level but he’s not there yet. If they get 5 wins, and go 3-3 the rest of the season then the Glazers will have to consider keeping Schiano Tucker said.
