From the Pewter Report, Mark Cook joined Marc Ryan tonight to give us the latest on the Buccaneers. Marc has been saying for weeks that the Bucs are turning the corner and Cook seems to be getting a great amount of feedback from the locker room that the players have begun to come to the defense of head coach Greg Schiano.
Players are starting to give coach Schiano credit for keeping the room positive and avoiding the finger pointing that kills a locker room. Many of them feel that Schiano is a large part of this turnaround. One hurdle facing the Bucs this week is the suspension of Dashon Goldson. As hard as it is to get use to the rules of the new NFL, the rules are the rules and Dashon Goldson continues to have a hard time adapting to the new NFL.
One guy that has stood out to both Marc and Mark is Bobby Rainey, and although he has been very good, Cook wanted to make sure that some of that praise went to the growth of the offensive line this season.
