Steven Stamkos was taken off on a stretcher in Boston during Monday afternoon’s game against the Bruins. Chris Dingman joined Booger and Rich to talk about the injury and what it means for the future of the Lightning.

Dinger said that after watching the replay, there was a little bit of a push on Stamkos but there wasn’t anything malicious. People in the league have the utmost respect for Stamkos, Dinger told Booger and Rich.

Dinger said that if Stamkos is out for an extended period of time, then the entire team is going to step up. The youngsters like Tyler Johnson will have to step up, but no one can replace Stammer.

Right now, Dinger said no one is thinking about who will step into Stamkos’ spot on his line. Teammates just hope he’s ok.
