Deputies: Florida Woman Brought Kids To Drug Deal

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A woman brought young children along when she sold heroin to undercover police, reports the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Palm Beach County deputies say 29-year-old Linnette Figueroa Ortega made the drug deal while four kids, ranging from 6 to 12, waited in a nearby vehicle.

After the transaction, she drove off in a silver Pontiac with the kids inside.

She was pulled over and arrested on drug trafficking charges.

Back in September, Ortega also sold heroin and pain killers to undercover deputies while two boys, 3 and 5, were with her, according to sheriff’s office records.

The identifications of the children are not listed in the police records, nor is their current locations.
