(AUDIO) College Football Insider Pat Forde Says FSU Could be Left Out if Alabama and Oregon are Undefeated

Pat Forde 11-7

Pat Forde from Yahoo! Sports joined Booger and Rich to break down the big Thursday matchups and talk about FSU’s chances of playing for a National Championship.

Forde said that if there are 3 undefeated teams left, FSU would likely be the team that gets left out but we’ve seen it before with teams like Auburn in 2004. Looking at the competition for FSU, they have the weakest and Forde said that is the main factor in Oregon jumping them in the polls.

Forde said that overall, Alabama is still the best team in the country. They’ve handled every team on their schedule so far. Forde said even the Texas A&M game wasn’t that close despite the score.

Forde said there are several teams like Baylor and Ohio State who could sneak into the top 2 or 3 if teams at the top slip up. The main things holding Ohio State back is their weak schedule according to Forde.

Forde said that he thinks Oregon will have the best chance to hang with Alabama if they make it to the National Championship. This Oregon team is different from years past and Forde says they have the best QB they’ve had in a long time. He went as far to say that they could actually beat Bama for a title.
